Hyman LH (citation)- p 341, "The finding of a species of this genus on the California coast is very surprising, as the only other known representative came from the Gulf of Siam. It is a complete mystery how anyone could have mistaken the specimen for a Notoplana acticola, for the eye pattern alone differs wholly from that of the latter. Further, the vaginal duct and the vaginal pore were perfectly evident on the whole mount, also the penis stylet."
