Kato 1944 (citation)- p. 276. Stimpson's Leptoplana oblonga from Simoda, Izu may be referable to Notoplana humilis, judging from the brief diagnosis of that species.
Localities: Southern coast of Hokkaido; Honshu; Kyushu; Bonin Islands. The most common polyclad in Japan.
