Steinbock O 1931 (citation)- Specimen taken in Faroes resembles Otoplana borealis, but is smaller, and p 22 "whose copulation apparatus the cuticularpipe, so characteristic of Otoplana borealis, is missing. Whether it is the question of a new species in this case or this specimen (I found only one animal) is a deformity of Otoplana borealis could not be decided."
