Convoluta marginalis Notes

[from Ivanov 1952 (citation), p. 124; transl. by A. Petrov] &emdash; In the course of our brief work in Busse lagoon [Busse Lake, actually] in the eastern part of the Aniva Bay, we once observed a new acoel very peculiar in appearance, probably belonging to the genus Convoluta. It was found in the littoral zone during low tide among the growth of Zostera. Unfortunately, we had only a single specimen at our disposal, which we could only examine alive. However, because of the characteristic appearance of this turbellarian, we deem it reasonable to name it and also to give a brief description.
