Nuttycombe JW 1956 (citation)- describes species to differentiate it from older species of lemnae- says it
	is most common species throughout Eastern United States.  0.354 mm to . 5 mm long.  Diagnosis:
	anterior cephalic region bluntly rounded; cephalic auricles at posterior end of cephalic region; 
	cephalic region distinctly less than 1/2 length of body of mature zooid; 1-8 zooids; statocyst
	embedded in posterior-dorsal aspect of ganglion.
