Stenostomum paraguayense Notes

Martin CH 1908 (citation)- p 758-763 description and illustration, figures 1-5, as Weldonia paraguayensis
compares with Microstomum lineare. Described as a peculiar rhabdocoel with a dorsal tubular nerve cord.

Luther A 1908 (citation)- Dorsal nerve cord described by Martin was probably dorsal excretory canal and must
have been a Stenostomum, probably near to Stenostomum bicaudatum.

Marcus E 1945 (citation)- illustration and description as Stenostomum parayguensis (Martin). Was described
by Luther 1909?, differentiates from bicaudatum by lack of internal tentacles in pharynx- found
in Brazil. Gives name as paraguayense- in error on original.

Marcus E 1949 (citation)- mentions.
