Macrostomum beauchampi Notes
Young 1976 (citation)- p 420, "Beauchamp 1935 (citation) named the animal Macrostomum viride E. Benedon 1870 var. elgonense n. var. Ferguson 1939 (citation) proposed it be given specific status and renamed M. beauchampi n. sp. Marcus 1955 (citation) stated that Ferguson 1939 (citation) should have used the existing variety name; the present author [Young] does not share that view."
