 History and synonyms		
		
  	Steinbock O 1930 (citation)-  Describes new genus, N. bathycola as type, from 1 specimen taken in
		Greenland.  Places it in separate family of Acoels, was not sure of mouth, etc. p80.  First
		called this Microstomum diplolethicum in 1926 trip.
		
  	Faubel A 1976 (citation).  Family Nemertodermatidae. Describes n. sp. Nemertoderma rubra, p 27.
  
 Geographic distribution:  Greenland, Diskobay, North Sea, Skagerrak, Mediterranean, Adriatic, 
 				Cape Cod- Buzzards Bay. 		
	 				
Westblad E 1937 (citation)- found more specimens and shows it has a gut- also that Steinbock specimen was 
	a young animal- he got both old and young.

Steinbock O 1938 (citation)- rebuttal of Westblad's idea that this is not primitive.  		
Westblad E 1948 (citation)- pp 62-65- comments on this genus in relation to other Acoelomorpha.
Hyman LH 1951(citation) -vol 2, p 83- on epithelial position of nervous system.  p 128- notes gut has a lumen 
	and no female reproductive parts but egg.
