Dorjes J 1968 (citation)- p 105-6 definition of family- synonym is Myostomellidae Riedl 1954. "Acoels with ventral mouth opening and large archipharynx. Ciliated out section short, uncileated inner section long with circular and long musculature. Reproductive opening ventral. Vagina opens anterior to penis." Type genus Nadina Uljanin 1870- discussion of nomenclature, etc. Crezee M 1975 (citation)- p 839- synonym Myostomellidae- notes pharynx is not related to that of Solenofilomorphidae.
