Gnathorhynchidae Orbiculorhynchus Diagnosis
Proboscis hard structures consist of a basal plate and 3 isolated hooks. Rate-like proboscis pads without secretory ducts. Paired pigmented eyes. Rosulate pharynx in the anterior body third. Unpaired testis and seminal vesicle. Copulatory bulb with prostatic vesicle, asymmetric internal seminal vesicle and common distal muscular canal. No copulatory hard structures. Unpaired germarium and vitellary. Single genital opening. Common atrium with anterior uterus and posteriorly located uterine glands. No bursa copulatrix. Caudal adhesive glands; no tail.
