Color confered by rhabdites and pigments. Brain insunken. Frontal organ weak.
Mouth opening ventral. Anterior part with tubuluous organ.
Testes and ovaries are paired. Germ-zone diffus. Female accessory organs are missing.
Male opening subterminally at posterior end.
Copulatory organ  with  long, stepped and ciliated antrum-tube,
a small cylindrical penis-tube and a hugh seminal vesicle.
Very many touch-sensilles.
Type of genus and only species: Oxyposthia praedator Ivanov, 1952
