Phaenocora brincki Diagnosis


Animals up to 2.2 mm long, without eyes or body pigmentation. Caudal body end sometimes pointed, sometimes almost round. Zoochlorellae absent. Dermal rhabdites present. Male copulatory system of the duplex-type IIIA. Seminal vesicle separated from the prostate vesicle by a strong sphincter. Female genital system of the AGLOBULATA-type. Epithelium of the female genital canal consisting of high, club-shaped cells.
