Pharynx collared, directed vertically, its musculature without reversing layers;
front body without ciliated pits;
with one pair pigment eyes in brain;
intestine without clear diverticula and unsplit, but with precerebral, lumen-less, blind-sac;
diffuse germaria with 2 to 3 large eggs in front of pharynx;
testes numerous, lying ventro-lateral +/- serially arranged;
male copulatory organ probable (only immature individuals known);
constructed similar to Coelogynoporinae (with 1 pair long outside seminal vesicles);
body thread-like;
with posterior adhesive cells;
without statocyst;
with common gonopore;
