totally ciliated;
front end not usually with eyes;
pharynx of medium size, its edge with (as a rule) with papillae bearing vibratory cilia and palps;
Testes mostly rostral to copulatory organ;
Seminal vesicles in bulb, directly attached to cuticular apparatus, of Macrodalyellia type (as a rule, with shafts, cross-bands, end branches with alternating spines and furrows, individuals may lack this part);
seminal receptical a widening of oviducts;
uterus with sphincter;
eggs not stalked, naked once in uterus;
cement glands present;
genital opening in caudal third of body;
