Eukalyptorhynchia with a spicular skeleton embedded in the basement membrane. Spicules composed of crystalline calcium carbonate. Proboscis highly glandular, open to the parenchyma in a ring-like region behind the junction. Pharynx in the anterior body region with weakly developed internal musculature and without cuticularized knobs. Male copulatory organ of the conjuncta-simplex type, provided with a cuticularized tubular stylet. genital atrium with well-developed uterus.
