Pseudoceros splendidus Stummer-Traunfels, 1933	1896 or earlier			apparently cosmopolitan. The type locality is the Mediterranean and the species has since been found at Bermuda (Hyman, 1939b) and the Galápagos Islands (Plehn, 1896).
