Stylochus zebra	Oct 29, 1892			several specimens taken on oyster beds in Long Island Sound off New Haven by Mr. Gilbert Van Ingen. All were found in dead shells of Fulgar that were occupied by hermit crabs (Eupagurus pollicaris).
Discocelides ellipsoides	1940 or earlier	0 - 335 m		Long Island Soud northward, uncommon, found in shallow and deeper waters, to 1,100 feet, among rocks and shells.
