Phagocata velata1915-1917temporary puddle, 'black and muddy with only a minimum of algae growth; specimens came from the bottom mud, with the loose silt, leaves, and sticks dragged up in a dip net.'

Prorhynchus stagnalis1915-19173 feetmud bottomponds. taken in the latter part of April, 'from the protected side of a mud bottomed little lake. They came with the loose silt from a depth of three feetk, where the wate was fairly clear and containing little or no algae.'
