Abstract / Notes
There have previously been only 2 records of representatives of Temnocephala from the Indian region. Host and distribution records are discussed. Most temnocephalid spp. seem to occur on decapod Crustacea. A list showing collection locality, donor, and no. of specimens, is given for the Temnocephala material in the collections of the Zool. Survey of India, mostly consisting of T. semperi, but including a few specimens of 4 other spp.
