Abstract / Notes
Collections have been made from many lakes, ponds, and streams in the vicinity of Mountain Lake Biol. Station, Virginia. The elevations of these bodies of water vary from 1,850 ft. above sea level to 4,100 ft. Habitats represented include natural and artificial lakes, springs, slowly and swiftly moving streams, and cascades. The forms reported number 38 spp. and vars. of 23 genera of Turbellaria.
