Abstract / Notes
Differs from Phaenocora in the very large inferior genital atrium provided with a glandular papilla, the separation of inferior and superior genital atria by a narrowed passage termed copu-latory duct, the additional pyriform lobes of the sup. gen. atrium, the presence of a blind diverticulum to the sup. gen. atrium, and the construction of the [male] copulatory organ which is single-walled, not of the double-sac type of Phaenocora. This largest of American phaenocorans was found in a sulphur spring in Va.
