Abstract / Notes
A new species of the new genus OAHUHAWAIIANA (Turbellaria, Tricladida, Maricola) from the Manoa Stream, Honolulu, Oahu Island, Hawaii, is described: O. kazukolinda Kawakatsu et Mitchell, gen. et sp. nov. This pigmented species with 2 eyes inhabiting an epigean freshwater locality seems to be a marine relict. It has been placed tentatively in the Maricola family Bdellouridae Diesing, 1862. The spherical stalkless cocoon contains 4 juveniles.
