Abstract / Notes
A new species, Macrostomum xiamensis sp. nov. was discovered. It was collected from abundant nourishment water of lily pond in Putuo temple of Xiamen City, Fujian Province. It showed marked characteristic: acerose smooth penis stylet, no chitin valve in the surface. Its far-forth end show helical curly form. Angle between bend part and plane is 60[degree]. Angle after planishing is 120[degree]. The helical bend is more half circle. The penis stylet is like end of injector, opening at outboard part of helical bend. Holotype XM-I-1, Paratypes XM-I-2-8 were found by WANG An-Tai in Putuo temple of Xiamen City, Fujian Province (24[degree]46[minute]N, 118[degree]18[minute]E). All specimens were deposited in Morphological Research Institute of Shenzhen University
