Abstract / Notes

The Turbellaria fauna of Plescheevo Lake was studied. A list of Turbellaria includes 24 species of 12 families and 6 orders. Eight species are found in the lake for the first time. The representatives of Mesostoma, Bothromesostoma, Rhynchomesostoma, Typhloplana, Dochmiotrema, and Phaenocora genera, previously described in the lake were not found. The Turbellaria fauna was especially rich in spring and summer. The species succession is characteristic of the growing period. Summer thermophilic species of Gleysztoria, Strongylostoma, and Castrada genera disappear, and psychrophil species of Ptorynchus and Opistomum arsenii genera appear. The new species, Castrada mamkaevi of Typhloplanidae family is described. This species differs from other representatives of the genus by the from of the ejaculatory duct consisting of two accrete branches of the same length without basal widening.
