Abstract / Notes
A comparative study of morphological phenomena in regeneration on three genera of fresh water planarians from different ecological habitats. Plagnolia vandeli, a true cave species; Phagocata vitta, from passages near the entrance of a cave; and Polycelis felina; an epigean species, are compared. The length of regeneration in the cave species is 3 times as long as in the cave entrance zone species and 6 times the length of the epigean species.| Home page -- (Main hierarchy) |
