Abstract / Notes
This fresh-water alloeocoel, after having disappeared from notice for 45 yrs., has been rediscovered in New Jersey and found to belong to the family Plagiostomidae, being the first member of this family known from fresh waters of N. America. The genus Hydrolimax is valid and differs from other Plagiostomidae in the follicular ovaries and enormous prostate vesicle, otherwise resembling Plagiostomum
