Abstract / Notes
The taxonomic placement of approx. 100 spp. of the family Macrostomidae is given and the new genera (AXIA, KARLINGIA, ARCHIMACROSTOMUM and INFRAMACROSTOMUM) have been erected on the basis of the anatomy of the sexual apparatus. Tabulations of all known forms, plus drawings and discussions of the taxonomically modified forms, are included.
