A detailed description is given of the morphology of the genus Utelga. including the snout apparatus and musculature, digestive organs, and genital organs. Differences between Utelga and Koinocystis are tabulated, with key and descriptions of 6 spp. of Utelga. including U. scotica, Scotland; U. bocki. Sweden, and U. chelifera, in the Skagerak.
