Abstract / Notes
Nine species are added to Chilean species of terrestrial Tricladida. Seven are presented here and 2 will be presented in the future. Two spp., Geoplana chilensis and G. cruciata, were already known; the latter is removed to a new genus [GUSANA cruciata (Graff), 1899, gen. et comb. nov.]. Microplana ruca Marucs, synonymous with Geoplana, is redescribed. Three new genera are erected: Gusana, TIMYMA [T. juliae sp. nov.] and LIANA [L. guasa sp. nov.]. Timyma is from an isolated wood with relict plant species; it shows primitive characters previously found only in the Oriental and Nogeic geoplanids. [Other new species include: Geoplana ercilla, G. placilla, G. chanca, G. tirua and G. caleta.].
