Abstract / Notes
A study of the reproductive system of Planaria velata 1909 shows that this sp. agrees with the definition of the genus Fonticola and the name is therefore changed to Fonticola velata (Stringer), n. comb. (p.156). The sp. appears to be distributed throughout the north-central United States.
