Abstract / Notes
A freshwater planarian collected in Anatolia is described. Its major characteristic concerns the copulatory system which exhibits features shared by the maricolan species. As only 1 specimen was available for diagnosis it is not advisable to infer its taxonomic position within the Tricladida. This is not the 1st case of a planarian which, though living in a freshwater habitat, presents morphological characters common to the maricolan species.
