Abstract / Notes
The specimens were collected in the South Sea Islands expedition of 1917-1918 in the Fiji Islands from the barrier reef where they occur clinging to the gorgonian Melitodes. The material contained 2 species, Apidioplana mira Bock 1925 and A. similis. The anatomy and histology of A. mira, a small (2-6 mm.) acotylean polyclad, are extensively described.
