Petrov] &emdash; This species is quite common at shallow depths (1-2 m) in the littoral zone of the western shores of south Sachalin where it occurs on various substrates among algae together with Oxyposthia praedator, Convoluta sagittifera, and other turbellarians. A great number of specimens were collected in the shallow coastal zone near Antonovo village (12 km north of Kholmsk), as well as near the town of Chechov. O. sachalinensis is especially abundant among the Sargassum.
