Male copulatory organ in form of distinct saccate ciliated antrum, with multilayered muscular envelope. Separated seminal vesicle absent. Female copulatory apparatus represented by ciliated vagina, well-defined seminal sac, and thin sclerotized nozzle. Body shape from oblong, leaf-like, with bent-down edges to elongated, monocelid-like. Symbiotic algae impart bright-green color to the body, epidermal glands with distinct orange secretion also evident. A pair of orange-red pigmented eyespots by sides of the statocyst.
