long, with ventral post-cerebral mouth opening;
pharynx directed [slanted] caudally;
no tail-plate (no adhesive plate);
rhammite tracts pass through brain;
male organ with a simple stylet which protrudes anteriorly into a large male antrum;
male antrum divided into proximal glandular and distal ciliated sections;
female canal either completely lacking or only briefly developed at maturity;
vesicula granulorum with 2 types of secretions;
cement glands arranged in a wide circle around male opening;
testis and ovary unpaired;
lateral longitudinal nerve trunks numerous (~25), lying caudally outside the circular muscles;
only brain and tail ganglia insunk
