Pentacoelum punctatum (Brandtner, 1935)1975present throughout the year. salinity in canal ranged from 0.1 to 6.2 ppt, temp 8.8 to 30.5 C. collected "under direction of Dr. M.A. Poirrier (University of New Orleans) as part of a pollution study along an outlet of Lake Pontchartrain."
