Collected here:

Solenofilomorpha funilis Crezee, 19751975 or earlierintertidalsand and mudfrom two locations on Radio Island. Numerous specimens. From sand and mud flats. Usually found beneath the surface two centimeters of sediment.
Myopea latafaucium Crezee, 19751975 or earliersandfrom sand flat. Holotype 835, and one paratype AMNH 836. Collected north of bridge, from Radio Island, opposite Morehead City, North Carolina, USA. Over 35 specimens collected from this and other North Carolina site.
