Sphalloplana (Sphalloplana) kansensis Hyman, 1945May 18, 1942specimen from Dr. Leslie Hubricht AMNH no. 311-313. Although 'taken in a spring, this species is undoubtedly a cave planarian for it lacks eyes and has the typical aspect of othe Kenkiidae.'
