Abstract / Notes
Samples from the littoral zone (0-40 m.) contained 2 turbellarian spp. Procerodes variabilis was previously known only from the southernmost part of S. America. PALOMBIELLA (Bdellouridae) is erected for P. stephensoni (Synsiphonium s. Palombi), previously known only from S. Africa, which is described, with key to genera of the family. In an appended note a description is given of an unnamed infusorian frequently observed in the pharyngeal cavity, sometimes also in the intestine of Palombiella.
