Abstract / Notes
"A number of molecular markers are summarized in this paper. These markers have broad applications in Tricladida in the following areas: DNA bar-coding, molecular phylogeny, genetic diversity analysis, population history, phylogeography, etc. The research prospects and focus of these markers are also forecast in this paper. Presently, nuclear ribosomal marker of 18S, 28S and ITS-1, and mitochondrial marker of COI are usually used in the research of Tricladida. The concatenated sequences of the four markers are conspicuously availed in molecular phylogeny. As the DNA bar-coding, COI, ITS-1 are frequently used to support the separate species status of new species and distinguish the asexual specimens."Home page -- (Main hierarchy) |
