Polycystidinae Hawadlia Diagnosis


Genus Hawadlia n.g.: Polycystididae with paired gonads and a ventral (not terminal) common genital pore. The male genital canal has a diverticulum functioning as prostate vesicle; the unpaired seminal vesicle enters the male genital canal distal to this diverticulum. The cirrus is not enclosed in a cirrus sac. The terminal bursa, the ovovitelloducts and a pair of accessory glands enter the bursa stalk at its distal part. Type species: H. papii.
