Geoplana cucullata Dendy, 1896	1896 or earlier			six specimens near Lake Mahinapua, near Hokitika, under fallen logs.
Geoplana graffii occidentalis Dendy, 1896	1896 or earlier			four specimens of this variety at Otira, and six near Lake Mahinapua.
Geoplana graffii otiraensis Dendy, 1896	1896 or earlier			Five specimens were obtained at Otira, and one near Lake Mahinapua.
Geoplana sanguinea Moseley, 1877	1896 or earlier			abundant under wood lying on the ground in paddocks between Lake Mahinapua and the sea-shore.
Geoplana mariae Dendy, 1895	1896 or earlier			one specimen of this species at Otira and four or five near Lake Mahinapua.
Geoplana subquadrangulata Dendy, 1895	1896 or earlier			common East Coast species from Otira, Jackson's, and Lake Mahinapua, on the West Coast, though it was not abundant at any of these localities.
