Archimacrostomum pusillum Notes
Although not explicitly stated in their paper, Faubel & Warwick, 2005 (citation) imply that Macrostomum pusillum has been transferred to Archimacrostomum pusillum. Given the issues with Archimacrostomum (see notes there), it is now referred to as Macrostomum pusillum, as suggested by Brand et al (citation).

Ax & Armonies 1987 (citation)- p. 17, "M. pusillum occupies muddy to sandy low energy zones. The salinity of recent locatlities ranges from 10 to 35 o/oo. Biotopes without vegetation are preferred (diatom feeder)."
